CALL TO WORSHIP Lord, Listen to Your Children Praying         Medema

Lord, listen to your children praying, Lord, send your Spirit in this place;

Lord, listen to your children praying, send us love, send us power, send us grace.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION (in unison)

Lord, you are the One who is constant in your watching over us.  Although we cannot always see your hand, help us to keep watch for the subtle power you create in our lives.  It is the power of forgiveness when we are able to overcome the hurt that has been done to us.  It is the power of peace when we find waves of contentment wash away hatred.  It is the power of your presence when we have done all we can to stand, then you fill us to overflowing.  Forgive us when we are not watching for your power, and remind  us that those who wait on you will be renewed in the Holy Spirit.  Amen
